The Inspiration
We are boundless beings. Yet, somehow we all at one point or another feel “stuck”. How often have you thought to yourself “this is who I am, and how I do things”. For instance I’ve used the term “I’m stubborn” to represent something good and beautiful about me. However, as I do this I can see how this has tied me down. This label actually doesn’t help me, it hinders me from being open minded and available to what the world has to offer. Yes, stubborn has it’s great attributes, but as every year goes by I see how it can also block me from something bigger. This painting is a reflection of what it means to be boundless. To put down your swords of labels that you’ve attached to yourself. It’s like walking through a meadow of new blooms and boundless possibilities.
