The Inspiration
The first time I went backpacking in 2016 I had no idea what I was doing and was extremely nervous to get out there and start. But i did it, and after the trip I felt SO ALIVE. It was completely out of my comfort zone, but I remember the lush forest smells and the sense of home I felt out on the trail. This painting is titled “Wild Terrain” inspired by doing something outside of the comfort zone and discovering a new passion you never would’ve found without taking a risk.
